Nothing Says Summer Like Crochet.. +1 from me

 

We’re counting down our top summer must haves, from A-Z. And now we’ve arrived at C. And THAT brings us to a fabulous thing: CROCHET.

It was seen all over the runways for Spring/Summer 2011 and it’s really not that hard to see why. It can be worked into anything, dresses, skirts, bags, sandals and even swimwear (although we’re not sure how practical that is). So take a cue from the kings and queens of the runway and get yourself in on this crochet action!

Of course the swimsuit and maxi dress are totally GORGE, although we’d recommend the dress for everyday use. Pair it with one of those woven bags (for a cause!) and you’re good to go!

Darn Isabel Marant for coming out with a super gorgeous collection that’s totally enviable, making us drool over everything. Dress it up or dress it down, crochet works under and over everything.

Leave it to Dior to tackle the trend ON SHOES! It’s totally fierce and 100% stunning, just more proof that with a little imagination, you can wear a trend literally, from head to toe!

At Coachella, the birthplace of cool summer fashion, Baby V no doubt tore it up with this cute little top, prompting us all to want to join her, or head towards a beach.
